Lucille Jeanette McIllhargey passed away at Lakeside Health & Rehab Center Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the age of 82 after courageously battling brain cancer.
Lucille was born on July 7, 1933 to Einer and Ruth (French) Olsen in Clayton, Wisconsin. She was one of fourteen children and had lived most of her young life in Wisconsin. Lucille lived in Mora and most recently in the Pine City area. She had a great love for music and for many years sang with the Pine City Singers. Lucille attended the Zion Lutheran Church and was very active in her prayer group. Her love of travel took her many places over the years with friends.
Lucille is survived by her husband Steve McIllhargey, sons LeRoy Olsen, Jack Mead, David Mead, daughter Susan (Ken) Jonas, brother Virgil (Lee) Olsen, Doug (Dorothy) Olsen, sisters Arlene Wiberg, Vivian (Wally) Seth, sister-in-law Donna Olsen, Ann Olsen, Sophie Olsen, nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Einer & Ruth Olsen, husbands; Don Evje, Willis Mead, Bill Koski, son Kevin Evje, brothers Lyle, Howard, Thorval, Clifford, Milton, sisters Agnes, Sylvia, Delores and Leola.
Reverend Glen Kleppe will officiate at the memorial service for Lucille: 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 12, 2016, Zion Lutheran Church, Pine City, Minnesota. A time of visitation for family and friends is planned for one hour prior to the memorial service at the church.
