Theresa Victoria Martini

Theresa Martini passed away Saturday morning, July 9, 2016 at her home in Pine City at the age of 86. Theresa enjoyed all of the people in her life, remembering everyone with cards throughout the year. Her knowledge of important dates was amazing! She was active in her church and always reminded us of our need to be in church. She enjoyed taking trips, watching sports and gaming with her family and friends. Her most enjoyable times were family functions and attending family activities and events. Theresa’s love had no bounds; she loved many and welcomed all into her heart. Theresa is survived by her children: Cordia (Dean) Swenson, Karen (Gerald) Moris, Steve Martini, Mary (Ronald) Martinson, Barbara (Rodney) Bell, Judith (Aaron) Thompson, Diane (Michael) Jankowski, Thomas (Kim) Martini, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters; Theola Fors, Alice Fransen, Jeanne Aeschliman, Lucille Harder, Shirley Lewis, brother Glenn Gaulke, many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, parents Walter & Cordia Gaulke, daughter-in-law Debbie Martini, grandson Michael Moris, and granddaughters-in-law Jacqueline Curry and Sue Merriman. Reverend Glen Kleppe will officiate the funeral service for Theresa at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2016. A time of visitation is planned for 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday evening and 2 hours prior to the service all will be at the Zion Lutheran Church, Pine City, Minnesota. Interment will be in Birchwood Cemetery in Pine City.
