Vivian Deloris Charles

Vivian Deloris Charles (Helgren) age 91 of Plymouth, MN went to be with her Savior on August 26, 2016. She was born in Moorhead, MN and attended North Central Bible College where she met and married Wally. Their passion together was the Lord, they were active in many congregations where they loved to fellowship, sing and give praise. Her love of her family and devotion to God was as bright as her smile. Vivian is survived by her children, Deanna McCormick husband Kit of Brooklyn Park, Glen Charles wife Brenda of Mora, and Susan Mitchell husband Darrin of Cross Lake; Grandchildren; Alison (Chris), Colin (Amanda), Kristin, Jeremy (Amber), Kaitlin (Andrew), Kimberly, Kalli, Darrick, Rachel, Roselyn, Debra, Emily, Esther. Great-grandchildren; Henry, Walter & Brooklyn. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years M. Wallace "Wally" Charles, parents Arthur and Emma Helgren, daughter Sandra McDonald, infant son Mark Wallace Charles, and 8 siblings. A special thanks to Sophie’s Manor and the Fairview Hospice Team of Pine City for the excellent care she was given. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Praise FM at North Central Bible College. Funeral services for Vivian Charles will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday August 31, 2016 with a time of visitation one hour prior to service at Crystal Lake Chapel & Cemetery, 3816 Penn Ave N. in Minneapolis. Interment will be at Crystal Lake Cemetery with a reception to follow.
