Ernest "Ernie" Melvin Broz

Ernest “Ernie” Broz lifelong resident of Pine City passed away at Ecumen in North Branch on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the age of 92. Ernie was born to Henry and Pauline (Valvoda) Broz on December 5, 1923 in Pine City, Minnesota. Ernie is survived by his children: JoAnn (Bob) Hunt of Colorado Springs, Jean (Errol) Hauck of White Bear Lake, Janis Broz of Stacy and Randy Broz of Pine City, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Pauline Broz, brothers Herbert Broz and Melvin Broz. Memorial service for Ernie will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Swanson Chapel in Pine City. A time for family and friends to gather is planned for one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
