Bessie Adaline Steele

Bessie Steele of Pine City passed away Friday October 14, 2016 at Lakeside Health and Rehab at the age of 98. She is survived by her daughters: Donna Mellum of Isanti, Ruth Demulling of Grasston, Joan (Paul) Wagner of Pine City, sons: Guy Foster of Pennington, Edward (Barb) Steele of Pine City, Gene (Bruce Stripe) Steele of Minneapolis, 23 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Nancy Foster of Onamia, sister-in-law Patricia Fisher of Bemidji, many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Addie (Weiser) Webster, husbands Clark Foster and Donald Steele, son James Foster, great grandson Gabriel Clennon, daughter-in-law Charlotte Foster, sons-in-law David Mellum and James Demulling. Funeral services for Bessie will be Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City. A time of visitation and reviewal is planned for Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service all at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji at 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon. Arrangements are entrusted to: Funeral and Cremation Service of Pine City, Swanson Chapel.
