Donald Ellsworth Svor

Donald Svor of Grasston, formerly of Benson, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the North Memorial Hospital at the age of 73. Donald Ellsworth Svor was born on October 19, 1943 to Oswald and Eldred (Wallin) Svor in Swift County, Minnesota.  For 34 years, he worked at Oak Ridge Country Club as the assistant superintendent.  His passion in life was the outdoors and deer hunting. Don is survived by his wife of 50 years Linda Svor of Grasston; children Chad Svor of Grasston, Chris (Kathy) Svor of Hopkins, Brian (Elizabeth) Svor of Bemidji; 3 grandchildren: Nathan, Alex and Blake Svor; great-grandson: Bentley; brother David (Valora) Svor of Atwater; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Oswald and Eldred Svor; siblings Dennis (Gloria) Svor and Denise (Tom) Sadergaski. Funeral services for Don are scheduled for 12 Noon; Friday with family and friends gathering one hour prior to the service at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City.
