John Edward Woll

Woll, John Edward, age 77, of Pine City, MN, formerly of Rushford, MN.  John died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.  He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Pharmacy and was a practicing pharmacist for 53 years.  He helped build the 37th largest pharmacy chain in the U.S. totaling 141 stores. In the process, his leadership positively touched the lives of many teammates who loved and respected him. John was a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years for Pine City.  He was a very valuable and active member of the community and was a volunteer for multiple organizations including the Pine City School Board, the Pine City Lions Club, the Rock Creek Lions Club, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Board and choir.   As a child, he embraced scouting with the Boys Scouts and eventually achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends, far and wide.Preceded in death by wives, Sara Ruth Woll and Joan Clark Woll; infant brother, Gary; and parents, Cora and Erwin Woll.  Survived by loving wife, Judy Huebscher-Woll; sons, Justin (Leslie) of Minneapolis and Jonathan (Molly) of Edina; brother Lelan (Connie) Woll of Bloomington, step-children, Rick (Betsy) Clark of Tower, MN; Carl Bruns of Albertville; Lori (Michael) Schramel of Minneapolis; Jason (Jami) Huebscher of Ham Lake, John (Christina) of Hugo, Andrew Huebscher of Los Angeles, CA; Molly (Paul) Benoit of Pine City, MN; grandchildren, Amanda Woll, Sara Woll, Russell (Marissa) Clark, Crystal-Jo (Josh) Larson, Shannon Bruns, Savannah Huebscher, Hunter Huebscher, and Liam Huebscher; and great-grandson, Max Meissner; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Visitation Thursday, December 8, 5-7 pm, Swanson Funeral Chapel, 665 3rd Avenue SW, Pine City, with private family viewing one hour prior.  Funeral service Friday, December 9, 11 am, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 825 Golf Avenue SW, Pine City with visitation one hour prior.
