Timothy McGinnity of Circle Pines passed away at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the age of 71.Timothy James McGinnity was born October 3, 1945 to Thomas Sr. and Mary (Erler) McGinnity in St. Paul, Minnesota.Tim is survived by his wife Colleen (Whittlef) McGinnity of Circle Pines; children: Josh (Jenn) McGinnity of South Minneapolis, Abby (Tim) Ponath of Hammond, Wisconsin, Brendan (Paige) McGinnity of Lino Lakes; 7 grandchildren; siblings Sr. Colleen McGinnity BVM, Sr. Ann DeNicolo BVM both of Chicago, Tom Jr. (Patty) McGinnity of Woodbury; several nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Sr. and Mary McGinnity.Fr. Michael Anderson will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial for Tim: 11 AM Wednesday (1/4/17) at St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church in Lino Lakes. A time of visitation is planned for Tuesday (1/3/17) at the Johnson-Peterson Funeral Home in White Bear Lake and also one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
