Bernard "Bernie" James Caroon

Bernie Caroon, age 80, of Pine City, died Wednesday morning, August 19th at his home in Pine City.  He is survived by his wife Ella Mae, daughters Terry Caroon and her husband Bob Kunesh of Bovey, Minnesota, Lenore and her husband Jim Kinne of Kentucky, Peggy & her husband Dave Nordrum of Pine City, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister Millie & her husband Delbert Lauer of Perham, brothers Clarence Caroon and his wife Marlys of Pine City, and Leo Caroon and his wife Luella of Fridley.    Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m.  Saturday, August 22nd  at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Vicki Vander Vegt officiating.  Interment will be in Birchwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Swanson Funeral Chapel and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
