Betty Lee Waldherr (Betty Boop) finished her journey on this Earth on September 19, 2009. Betty fought a courageous battle against cancer for almost 4 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 46 years, Joseph; sons Michael Waldherr (Shelley Olsen) of Winona, MN; Timothy Waldherr (Barbara Johnson) of Bloomington, MN and daughter Taisa Diedrich (Devin) of Ramsey, MN. She has also left behind 8 special grandchildren; Brandon, Ashlee, Cody, Jorden, Deacon, Nick, Bricker and Lilly. As well as her two sisters Bonnie McLearen (Larry) of Rockford, MN and Becky Siekmann (Dan) of Glendale, AZ. Betty was married on July 5, 1963. Most of her early years were spent raising and caring for her family. As her children grew older she started working at different jobs. Her most memorable being Kerry's Clothing Store in Edina and as a bridal consultant for Mary Kay's Bridal of Edina. In 1997 Betty & Joe moved to their weekend home in Hinckley, MN. It soon became their (retirement) home. Betty worked at Cassidy's Restaurant until her illness in 2005. She will be best remembered for her love of family, friends and hummingbirds. Services will be held on Wednesday 9/23 at 1:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Cloverdale, MN. Interment will immediately follow service at Clover Cemetery on East Hwy 48. Luncheon will be served following funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to www.GatewayForCancerResearch.org.
