Mr. Marlyn Moses of Rush City, Owner/Operator of Moses Grocery in Rush City for over 40 years died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at his home in Rush City, MN. at the age of 86 years.
Wife Lois, his children Bill Moses of Mpls., Sandy (Dennis) Kaufmann of Rush City, Jerry Moses of Lindstrom, grandsons Andrew
Kaufmann, Alex Moses his brother Adrian “Smokey” (Leora) Moses of Sand Point, Idaho Sisters-in-law Mattie Moses, Norma Moses both of Rush City and many nieces and nephews.
Marlyn was preceded in death by his parents M.J. and
Emma (Gilbertson) Moses, siblings Rodney Moses, Wadia (Grace) Moses,
Kenny (Peggy) Moses Sr., Harry (Catherine) Moses, Verona (Muggs) Ordner, Erma (Otto) Goebel, Stanley Richard “Dickey” Moses, Darcy Moses, nephew Kenny Moses Jr. and “best friends” Jim Cook and Bob Froelke
Funeral arrangements for Marlyn Moses of Rush City are scheduled for Saturday; 10 a.m. at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rush City.
A time of visitation and reviewal is scheduled for Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Olson Chapel in Rush City and one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
Interment will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery of Rush City.
Honorary casket bearers include
Adrian Moses, Alton “Andy” Anderson, Dave Krinke, Jack Paulson, Dean Goebel, Ted Diers, Louis Perreault, Clarence McDonald, Bill Sandberg and Frank Strelow. The active casket bearers will be Terry Moses,Frank Moses,Harry Moses, Gordy Goebel, Dick Ordner and Randy Carey.
