Kjell Lundquist passed away quietly in Pine City at age 100. He emigrated from Sweden at age 18 and worked at Toro Mfg. for 46 years as a tool and die maker. Kjell raised his family in South Minneapolis. He enjoyed being on the water fishing and bowling with friends from First Covenant church. It was at this church where he met his wife Lillian and enjoyed the support of many wonderful friends. He was proud of his years teaching young boys the Bible and watching them go on to live successful lives. He was preceded in death by brothers Harald, Ernst and Helge, sister Signe and son Gary. He is survived by his wife Lillian, sons and daughters-in-law Dennis and Kathy and Landis and Kathi, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 11th at First Covenant Church, 7th St. & Chicago Ave., Minneapolis. with visitation 1 hour before the service. The interment will be in Pleasant View Memorial Garden Cemetery, Burnsville.
