Bruce Luck passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 15, 2010.
Bruce was born in Minneapolis on May 1, 1934 to John & Ruby Luck. He had 2 brothers – Dwight and Bobby, and 4 sisters – Geri, Jill, Sharon and Shirley.
Most of Bruce’s childhood was spent growing up in the “Hungry Hollow” neighborhood in South Mpls. where he would break into the street car yards and run the street cars. He graduated from South High School in 1952. Bruce & Helen met in the summer of 1952 and were married on July 23, 1955. They lived in Zimmerman and Minneapolis and eventually ended up in Stanchfield, MN, where dad pursued a variety of hobbies, such as – cars, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, model airplanes and travel (to mention a few).
Bruce will be missed dearly, but he left us with many fond memories and great stories to share. He had a wonderful sense of humor that he passed onto his children. We will laugh often, dance like nobody’s watching, and love like there is no tomorrow. You’ll forever
remain in our hearts. Thank you for a wonderful Journey!
