Hughie Wilson Burton Sr.

Hughie Burton Sr. passed away Thursday at the Burnett County Care Center in Grantsburg, Wisconsin at the age of 79 years. Hughie is survived by his beloved wife Phyllis, his children: Larry (Chris) Burton of Forest Lake,MN, Hughie (Karen)Burton Jr.of Willernie,MN, Debora (Dennis) Kerschner of Centerville, MN, Darren (Heidi) Burton of Willow River,MN, William Anderson, Dennis (Lori) Anderson, Robert Anderson all of St. Paul,MN 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceding Hughie in death are his parents Henry & Ethel Burton, one sister and two brothers. Rev. Laurie O’Shea will officiate at memorial services for Hughie Burton; 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (Feb 9, 2010) at the Olson Chapel in Rush City with a time of visitation from 5-8 p.m. the same night. Interment will be in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Wednesday morning at 10:15 a.m. Please meet at assembly area #4 inside Fort Snelling Cemetery between 10:05-10:15 sharp. Hugie was a proud member of the Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 87.
