Phyllis Marie Gardner

Phyllis Gardner of Rock Creek died Saturday (June 19, 2010) at her home at the age of 70 years. She is survived by her husband LeRoy, three children: Richard Gardner and his wife Denise, Renee Allen, Ron Gardner and his wife Sue all of Pine City; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, sisters; Marilyn Jasa and her husband Paul of Edina, Charlue Hancock and her husband Ben of Brook Park, Shirley Larson and husband Dan of Cambridge, Tammy Skalicky of Sandstone, brothers: Jim Gilbey of Rush City, Wayne Gilbey and wife Diane of Hermantown, Wes Gilbey and wife Diane of Rush City, sister-in-law Betty Gilbey of Pine City, brother-in-law Roger Brown of Pine City and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd & Eldora Gilbey Sr., grandson Ryan Gardner, sister Maxine Brown and her brother Lloyd Gilbey Jr. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, (June 22, 2010) at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City with Rev. Vicki VanderVegt officiating. A time of visitation and reviewal took place 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday and also Monday evening from 4-8 p.m. at the Swanson Chapel in Pine City. The interment was in the Czech National Cemetery of Pine City.
