Terry White of Pine City died unexpectedly Wednesday at the home of his son in Portage, Wisconsin at the age of 57 years.
Terry Lee White was born on January 17, 1953 to Albert and Melba (Johnson) White, in Mora. He was raised in Hinckley, Minnesota graduating from Hinckley High School in 1971.
Terry joined the U.S. Army in 1974 and served 11 years. During those 11 years he was stationed in Germany three times, two times in Ft. Polk, Louisiana and two times in Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. He served 12 years with U.S. Army Reserves retiring in 2002. During his time of service with the reserves, he went to Panama to help rebuild schools and clinics. After his retirement from the service, he worked at various jobs most recently the Minnesota Department of Corrections from which he retired.
Terry married Rosemary (Erickson) on December 27, 1980 and to this union two children RebelAnn and Brandon were born. Terry and Rosemary also raised David, Terry’s first child from a previous marriage.
Terry was a loving son, brother, husband and father. He will be missed dearly.

His Children: David (Liz) White of Endeavor, WI., RebelAnn (Luke) Chromey of Surprise, AZ., Brandon (Heather Beliveau) White of Portage, WI., grandchildren: Winter, Trynity & Blaze Chromey. Also surviving is his Mother-in-law: Marion Erickson of Sandstone, MN., Sister:Wendy (Paul) Norby of Becker, MN., brothers: Dennis (Sandy) White of Finlayson, MN., Wayne (Barb) White of Albertville, MN., Randy (Vicky Kegley) White of Brook Park, Mn., Perry (Tammy) White of Pine City, MN., many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pastor Lyn Sahr will officiate at funeral services Monday (8/9/10)
10 a.m. at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City with visitation Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. and one hour prior to funeral.
Mr. Terry White will be intered with Military Honors; 12:45 p.m. Monday in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Mpls. MN. Meet at Assembly area # 5.
