Marjorie Amelia Tangness

Marjorie Tangness died unexpectedly Wednesday at the St. Cloud Hospital recovering from hip surgery at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her children; Robert Tangness of Lowell, Arkansas, Nancy Anderson of Rush City, MN, Al Tangness of Richfield, Mn, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, sisters Elaine Burk of Coon Rapids, MN, Joyce (Gordon) Wibstad of Brandon, MN, many nieces and nephews and her special friend Ed Chromey of Pine City, MN. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents Sigurd & Ida Peterson, husband Magne Tangness, sister Lucille Brown and her brothers Raymond, Jerry and Lawrence Peterson. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday (August 28, 2010) at the Swanson Chapel in Pine City, MN. with a time of visitaion one hour prior to service.
