Howard C. Marx

Howard Marx, age 77 of Pine City, formerly of St. Paul, died Friday, October 8 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.    Howard is survived by his wife Carolyn, sons Robert and his wife Shanna of Linwood, Minnesota, DuWayne of Minneapolis, daughters Juanita and her husband Eric McDew of Forest Lake, Shelli and her husband Mark Thompson of Woodbury, 10 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.  He is also survived by brothers Wayne of Forest Lake and Donald of North Branch, sisters-in-law Bonnie MArx of Maplewood, Rita Marx of St. Paul and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.  He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Dorothy Marx, his daughter Carol Marx Buchanan, and brothers Richard and Clair Marx. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 17 at Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City with Deacon Mark Pulkrabek officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Sunday only.  A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
