Corey James Monster

                               Corey James Monster age 37 of Rush City died Friday November 26, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident.          Corey was born October 20, 1973 in Sandstone MN to Marvin Monster and Kim (Pavelka)Tonsfeldt.  He attended Rush City High School graduating in 1992.                                                                     Corey had a love for the outdoors.  He enjoyed 4 wheeling and snowmobiling.  He had a gift for doing mechanical work and landscaping.  He always had a special place in his heart for his children, family and all of his friends.  Corey was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lawrence and Winnie Monster and his maternal grandparents Gene Pavelka and Lois      Sybrant.                                                                                                               He is survived by children Cassie Ostler, Karyssa Monster and Alex Kaltenhauser.  Father and stepmother  Marvin & Cathy Monster.  Mother Kim (Pavelka) Tonsfeldt. Sisters Sara (Monster) Sieling and husband Eric,  Natasha Tonsfeldt, Shawn Tonsfeldt, Samantha Tonsfeldt and brother David Tonsfeldt.   Nephews Tucker and Devyn Sieling. He is also survived by grandparents Louis and Janet Scullard; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.                                                                                                                                        Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30th at First Lutheran Church of Rush City with Reverend Laurie O’Shea officiating.  Interment will be in the First Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at the Olson Funeral Chapel of Rush City and continue on Tuesday 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
