Alve "Al" Ronald Stumne

Alve "Al" Stumne of Pine City passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital at the age of 84.

Alve Ronald Stumne was born April 3, 1939 to Henry and Grace Stumne (Gottschalk) in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Alve is now enjoying the company of those who have gone before him: parents Henry and Grace Stumne (Gottschalk); son Ron Stumne; brothers Glenn (D'anne) Stumne, Gary Stumne; extended family Vince and Anna Mae Polley, Joyce and Jim Block, Sena Townsend, Donnie Brown, Roy Yant.

Al is survived by his wife Lu Stumne; Joan Stumne, Rose Yant, Sandra (Tim) Zanor, Julie Brown,  Lee O'Hara, Steve (Angie) Townsend; children, grandchildren: daughter Bonnie Stumne and her children Shaun Stumne, Rory (Susan) Fischer; son Ron Stumne's (deceased) children Aaron Stumne, Erik (Candi) Stumne, Cassandra (Andrew) Bryan, Dylan Crawford; daughter Michelle (John) Stumne and their children Teasha Harris, Jeffrey (Victoria) Harris; son Chad (Brandi) DanaKi and their children Petra and Ianto DanaKi; son Shanon (Irina) Stitt and their children Caitlin and Sebastian Stitt; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Reverend John Stiles will officiate at Al's funeral service: 12 Noon; Friday, August 4, 2023 with a time of visitation and reviewal one hour prior to the service all at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City. The interment will take place in Birchwood Cemetery, Pine City.  A celebration of Alve's life is planned at the Rock Creek City Center; 7000 State Highway 70; Pine City, MN immediately following the burial.
