Annette “AJ” Johnson, 48, of Minneapolis, formerly of Rush City, passed away June 18, 2018 at her home.
Annette Marie Johnson was born May 3, 1970 to Ronald and Sandra (Rudisill) Johnson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the youngest of two children.
Annette attended schools in Fridley and Blaine graduating from Fridley High School, she was active in basketball, track and karate. In addition to life in Blaine and Fridley, she lived in Rush City and Royal Palm Beach, Florida before moving back to Minneapolis. Annette pursued a career as a Securities Broker working in Minneapolis with Oppenheimer and Northland Securities, where she was working at the time of her death.
Annette is survived by her mother Sandi (Denny) Wood of Rush City; father Ron (Jan) Johnson of Grand Rapids; brother Todd (Tracy) Johnson of Blaine; nephews Josh and Tyler; niece Brittney; aunts Audrey Malark of Columbia Heights, Gail Mann of Grand Rapids; many relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Ervie and Myra Rudisill of Hill City and John and Lida Johnson of Grand Rapids; aunts Joyce Rooker of Grand Rapids and Janet Stanek of Fridley; uncle Richard Malark of Columbia Heights.
Reverend Fred Hanson will officiate at funeral services for Annette: 11 AM; Tuesday, June 26, 2018. A gathering of family and friends is planned for 1 hour prior to the service all at the Olson Funeral Chapel, Rush City. Luncheon to follow at the Time Out in Rock Creek. The interment will be private.
