Barbara Ann Lee

Barbara Lee of Harris passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the University of Minnesota Hospital-Fairview in Minneapolis.Barbara Ann Lee was born to Edward and Margaret (Brooks) Lee on July 29, 1953 in Cambridge, Minnesota.After graduation from high school Barbara attended the University of Minnesota - Waseca for animal husbandry but after a short time she returned to the home dairy farm in Harris. She helped run the dairy farm and worked at the senior care center in North Branch.Barbara enjoyed working with the dairy cows, showing her horse and always had a dog for a companion. In her leisure time Barb enjoyed reading. Prior to her passing she lived at GracePointe Crossing senior living in Cambridge where she made many friends.  She was always known for her smile and gentle nature and she will be dearly missed. Barbara Lee is survived by her brothers Robert (Dr. Lori) Lee of Medford, WI, and David Lee of Harris; sister Peggy Batten of St. Cloud; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews and great-great nephew.She is preceded in death by her parents Edward Lee and Margaret & Caleb Nelson.Reverend Amanda Applehans will officiate at funeral services for Barbara; 11 AM; Saturday, October 28, 2017. A time for visitation and reviewal is planned from 5-8 PM Friday all at the Olson Chapel in Rush City.
