Barb Zabilka

Barbara Olson Zabilka passed away on October 25,2023, in Cambridge, at the age of 86.

Barbara Jeanne Dahl was born April 16, 1937, to Christian and Gudrun (Bolme) Dahl in Duluth, Minnesota.

Barbara enjoyed camping trips with her husband Ed and their son Rick. These trips often included good friends the Marnich family, as well as the "Pine City Camping Crew".  In 1998, Ed Olson, Barb's first husband and Rick's father passed away.

Barb is survived by her son, Rick (Cindy) Olson of Tennessee; her step-daughters Pat (Dave) Fowler of Washington, Linda Jackson of Zimmerman, Pam (JoAnn Hoffman) Zabilka of California, Laura Zabilka of Bemidji, Paula (Dave) Frisk of Minnetonka; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother Roy (JoAnn) Dahl of Illinois; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Christian & Gudrun Dahl; husbands Ed Olson and Ron Zabilka; stepson-in-law Terry Jackson. Rev. Dr. Vicki Vander Vegt will officiate funeral services for Barbara: 11:00 AM; Friday, June 7th at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City.  Inurnment will take place at Birchwood Cemetery.
