Bruce Carlson of Pine City died at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the age of 63.
Bruce Allen Carlson was born March 3, 1956 to Maynard and Patricia (Plessel) Carlson in Grantsburg, Wisconsin.
Bruce met the love of his life, Karen Gloege, when they were just kids. On June 29, 1974 they were married and raised 3 children.
Bruce was an avid outdoorsman, whether it was raising beef cattle, hunting, fishing, camping with family or just sitting out in the back forty with ma.
Bruce and Karen enjoyed traveling around the country every year and just celebrated 45 years of marriage.
Bruce was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.
Bruce is survived by the love of his life, wife Karen Carlson; daughter Jessica (Terry) Clementson; sons Gary (Jessica) Carlson and Nicholas Carlson all of Pine City; grandchildren Andrew and Derek Clementson, Mackenzie, Myah, and Mason Carlson and Cody, Timarie, Donovan and Josh Jones; great-grandson Phoenix Bean; Godchildren Melinda Carlson and Heather Hill; siblings Colleen Stennett, Joyce (Wayne) Godlewski all of Blaine, James (Janet) Carlson of Fridley, Douglas (Janet) Carlson of Dalbo, Brian (Annette) Carlson of Coon Rapids, Leanne (Jasen) Gageby of Cottage Grove; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Maynard and Patricia Carlson.
Reverend Glen Kleppe will officiate at funeral services for Bruce: 3:30 PM; Wednesday, July 17, 2019 with a time for family and friends to gather one hour prior to the service all at the Zion Lutheran Church in Pine City. The interment will take place in the Rock Creek Cemetery.
