Carol Elizabeth Miskowitz

Carol Miskowitz of Pine City passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the age of 54.

Carol Elizabeth Bjerke was born on June 21, 1969 to Eugene and Kathleen (Shepherd) Bjerke in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Carol consistently placed family at the center of her world. She possessed a remarkable talent for transforming ordinary moments into cherished memories, ensuring that the holiday and events were as unique and special as the individuals themselves.

Her heart overflowed with passion as she would craft exquisite quilts. Each one wrapping us up in her love. As with us, she nurtured her garden with tender care. Through the threads of her quilts and blossoms of her garden, she expressed her boundless love and dedication to those closest to her, including spoiling her granddaughter, Orilye.

Her legacy of selflessness, creativity and devotion will forever endure, woven into the fabric of our lives and etched into our memories.

Carol is survived by her husband Thomas Miskowitz of Pine City; children Jeanna Miskowitz (Matt Johnson) of Pine City, Joe Miskowitz of Minneapolis, Isaac Miskowitz of Mahtomedi; granddaughter Orilye Johnson; parents Gene and Kathy Bjerke of Grantsburg, Wisconsin; sister Tammy (Leon) Phonvidon of Saint Cloud, Brenda Heinen of Minneapolis; sister-in-law Tammy Bjerke of Missouri; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother Paul Bjerke.

Funeral arrangements for Carol: 4 PM; Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
