Dale Victor Clementson

August 16, 1954 — April 14, 2024

Pine City

Dale Clementson passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 at his home in Pine City  at the age of 69.

Dale Victor Clementson was born on August 16, 1954 to Victor and Marjorie (Josewsky) Clementson in Rush City. He attended Milburn Country School through 6th grade.  In 1972, he graduated from Pine City High School.

Dale was an avid outdoorsman from a young age; canoeing and fishing for bass down the Snake and St Croix Rivers. He looked forward to deer hunting every November with his dad, uncles, brothers and later with his son, nephews, nieces, and friends on family property. He enjoyed cutting and splitting wood, planting apple trees and plot farming for the deer out on the hunting land. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, riding ATV and motorcycle. Dale and Audrey made over 20 trips to Sturgis.

Dale held various jobs in his life starting with hauling milk. He was employed at the downtown Holiday, Atscott, DLK Speakers, Aurelius Manufacturing where for a period of time all five brothers worked together. He finally landed at Bermo where he worked for about 23 years, 10 of which were with his son Lars. In 2013, Dale retired due to a stroke.

Strength and courage were a part of Dale’s life from a young age. He had multiple medical conditions that he persevered though over the years, always staying positive with his wife Audrey by his side. His brothers, family, and friends were also always a significant part of his life that kept a grin on his face and the determination to see another day.

Dale enjoyed life to the fullest, even when he could not be as active.  He looked forward to going out for a car ride to see the countryside, especially when he would end up in finding an obscure restaurant out in a small community.

Dale will be sadly missed and never forgotten by many.

Dale is survived by his loving wife Audrey Clementson; son Lars Clementson (Antoinette Anderson); granddaughter Raena; siblings Harlan Clementson, Randy (Kris) Clementson, Terry (Jessica) Clementson all of Pine City; sister-in-law Clarise Bassett; brothers-in-law Doug Bassett, Tim Bassett; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents Vic & Marge Clementson; brother Bobby Josewsky; sisters-in-law Lori Clementson, Annette Lazinski; brothers-in-law Jim Bassett, Steve Bassett.
