Dennis Ernest Mohr

Dennis Mohr of Saint Paul, formerly of Pine City, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Country Manor in Sartell at the age of 76.Dennis Ernest Mohr was born December 7, 1941 to Ernest and Margaret (Blatta) Mohr in Pine City, Minnesota and raised on his family’s farm.  Dennis was retired from the American Can Company (Silgan Corporation) after 36 long years. He worked for the University of Minnesota Men’s Athlete Department as Head Pass gate guard for all men’s sports for 15 plus years. He enjoyed farming, camping, snowmobiling, and fishing. He died a farmer at heart.Dennis is survived by his wife Ruth Mohr of Ham Lake; daughters Tamara Mohr of Holloway and Mary Mohr of Princeton; son William (Tiffany) Mohr of North Branch; grandchildren Jordan (Todd), Koral, Brody and Kassidy; great-grandchildren Riley, Ethan and Noah; brother Thomas Mohr of Saint Paul; sister-in-law Cheryl Mohr of Farmington; many nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Margaret Mohr; brother Terry Mohr.Memorial services for Dennis: 11 AM; Saturday, September 15, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pine City.  A gathering of family and friends is planned for one hour prior to the service at the church.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the: Funeral and Cremation Service of Rush City~Olson Chapel. www.FuneralAndCremationService.com
