Eileen Delores Connaker, born on November 23, 1926, in Pine City, Minnesota, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished daughter of Richard and Emma (Tapper) Glasow.

Eileen's journey through life was marked by her unwavering devotion to family. She attended Milburn Country School and graduated from Pine City High School in 1945. She worked briefly at the Pine County Courthouse, several years at the Pine City Pioneer, then returned to the Courthouse before retiring in 1989. Eileen married James (Jim) Connaker on Valentine’s Day 1946. Their enduring love story spanned 54 years until Jim’s passing in 2000.

Eileen's kind and loving nature endeared her to all who knew her. She had a deep care for her church, family and friends, which were her highest priority in life. Eileen cherished moments spent playing cards, watching the Minnesota Twins, fishing, and creating lasting memories with her loved ones. She will be remembered not only for her love of family but also for her kind heart and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, and she will be dearly missed by friends and loved ones.

Eileen is survived by her beloved children: Wally (Jane) Connaker of Pine City, Cheryl (Dwayne) Doran of Dayton, Joe Connaker of Plymouth, John (Sue) Connaker of Owatonna, and Pat (Sandy) Connaker of Pine City. Her legacy lives on through her 10 adoring grandchildren: Steve (Andrea) and John (Shelley) Doran, David (Holly) and Chris (Katie) Connaker, Christa (Scott) Helgeson, Kim (Ryan) Hammill, Ryan (Rebekah), Paul (Emily), Adam, and Michael (Beth Anne) Connaker, as well as her 15 great-grandchildren. She is also fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and her sister-in-law Marion Glasow.

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Emma Glasow; loving husband James (Jim); father-in-law and mother-in-law Mike and Julia Connaker; grandson Jeffrey Connaker. She was also predeceased by her brother Duane; brother and sister-in-law Donald and Dolores Glasow; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dr. Ted and Mary Buselmeier.

Father Chuck Brambilla will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial of Eileen's life: 10:30 AM; Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pine City.  A time of visitation and reviewal is planned from 4-7 PM on Tuesday (10/3) with a Rosary at 7 PM at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City and also one hour prior to the Mass at the church. The interment will take place in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pine City next to her husband Jim.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
