Gerald "Jerry" Pariseau of Belle Isle on Rush Lake passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 at his daughter’s home in Cottage Grove the age of 92.
Gerald Louis Pariseau was born May 3, 1927 to John and Mabel (Neumann) Pariseau in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Jerry grew up in St. Paul and was drafted and then enlisted in the Army and served in WWII.
On November 27 1947, he married Carol Parsons and together they had 9 children.
Jerry retired from 3M after 35 years and moved from the east side of St. Paul to Rush City where he made his home on Rush Lake. When Jerry retired he took up golf which he enjoyed immensely. He would also go to Hinckley because he loved playing black jack and seeing all the people. He called that his job once a week.
Jerry is survived by his children Keith Pariseau of Inver Grove Heights, Janet (Alan) DuFour of Cottage Grove, Michael Pariseau of North Branch, Wayne Pariseau of Cannon Falls, Sheila (Patrick) Ubel of Lindstrom, Lee Pariseau of North Branch; special friend Fern Lindquist; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mabel Pariseau; wife Carol Pariseau; daughter Diane Bloom; sons Bruce and Scott Pariseau; great-great-granddaughter Dian Bloom; brother Leo; sister Joyce.
Father Rick Banker will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial for Jerry: 11 AM; Thursday, November 14, 2019 at The Catholic Church of St. Rita; 8694 80th Street South; Cottage Grove. A time of visitation and reviewal is planned from 5-7 PM Wednesday (11/13) at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City and also one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Jerry will be interred with military honors: 2 PM Thursday (11/14) in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Meet at assembly area # 4
