Gerald "Jerry" John Trent, Jr.

Jerry Trent of Pine City passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 71.

Gerald John Trent, Jr. was born August 17, 1950 to Gerald and Ida (Atkins) Trent, Sr. in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Jerry is survived by his wife Irene Trent; daughters Laurina (Scott) Bombard, Jessica (Daniel) Miller; 9 grandchildren: Madelyn (Gilbert) Bombard, Elizabeth Bombard, Evelyn Bombard, Earl Bombard, Elwood Trantanella, Jacob (Emily) Trantanella, Josaphine (Chris) Goslee, Chaz (Andrina) Miller, Gage Miller; 2 great-grandchildren: Irene Terry, Theodore Trantanella; siblings Karen Trent, Laurina Trent, Patrick Trent, Daniel Trent, Julie Trent; brother-in-law Daniel Bauman; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Ida Trent, Sr.; son Matthew Trent; brother William Trent; sister Kathy Bauman.

Pastor Cary Johnson will officiate at funeral services for Jerry: 1 PM; Friday, March 18, 2022 with a time of visitation and reviewal planned from 11 AM – 1 PM all at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City. The interment will take place in Rock Creek Cemetery.
