Gordon Anderson of Rush City passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the age of 49.Gordon Raymond Anderson was born December 29, 1967 to Raymond and Shirley (Bobzin) Anderson in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.Gordon attended the Golden Lake and Centennial Schools in Circle Pines. In 1974, the family moved to a farm in the Rush City area where he finished his education. After school, he had a various amount of jobs but after all that he found passion and love working at the Rush City Bakery. In his spare time, Gordon like spending time going camping, fishing, singing Karaoke, playing bingo, hanging out with friends and most of all spending time with his nieces and nephews.Gordon is survived by his mother Shirley Anderson of Pine City; sisters Wendy Fehrman and Cora (Darwin) Weidendorf all of Rush City; brother Aaron Anderson of Wisconsin; nephews Joe Fehrman and Alan Weidendorf; nieces Sherri Fehrman and Angeleah Weidendorf; great-nephew and niece Cameron and Hazel Massey; Godmother Karen Anderson; many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.He is preceded in death by his father Raymond Anderson; uncles: DeLos Anderson, Sr., Darold Anderson, Ronald Anderson, Paul Kaska and Jerry Bobzin; aunt Darlene Kaska; cousins Jolene Anderson, Cindy Foley, Clinton Kaska and Dale Anderson; grandparents: Bert and Cora Anderson, Henry and Alice Bobzin.Reverend Laurie O’Shea will officiate at funeral services for Gordon: 7 PM; Friday, June 9, 2017 with a gathering of family and friends planned from 5-8 PM all at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the: Funeral and Cremation Service of Rush City~Olson Chapel. www.FuneralAndCremationService.com
