Joyce Annette Vetse

Joyce Vetse of Pine City passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at North Pines Assisted Living at the age of 83.

Joyce Annette Hischer was born April 26, 1936 to Herman and Hazel (Carlson) Hischer in Hastings, Minnesota.

Joyce is survived by her children Jacquelyn (Glenn) Gasmen of Houlton, Wisconsin, Eric Vetse of New Richmond, Wisconsin, Kurt (Annamaria) Vetse and Ross (Annette) Vetse all of Maple Grove; grandchildren: Nathan, Ben, Danielle, Griffin, Abbie, Hailey, Caterina, Emma, Emmitt, Maria, Nadia, Izzy and Jakob; sisters Janice Hischer of Pine City and Joanne (Owen) Dahmer of Windsor, Colorado; brother John (Joan) Hischer of Harris; many other relatives and friends.

Joyce is preceded in death her parents Herman and Hazel Hischer; husband Melvin Vetse.

Reverend Glen Kleppe will officiate funeral services for Joyce: 2 PM; Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church.  A time of visitation for family and friends to gather will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  The interment will take place at Birchwood Cemetery.
