Julie Campbell passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 at her home in Hinckley at the age of 62.
Julie Bernice Clarno was born November 25, 1960 to Warren and Joan (Vincent) Clarno in Lake City, Minnesota.
Julie grew up in St. Louis Park with her parents and five siblings. She met Bruce Campbell in 1976 and together they moved to Ortonville, Minnesota. While living in Ortonville their son Zechariah was born. The young family moved to Staples, Minnesota and this is where their daughter Melissa was born; later moving back to St. Louis Park where daughter Michelle was born.
In 1986, Bruce and Julie were married and lived in a cute cabin on Lake Independence. Moving to Howard Lake for a few years and then in 1991 to Maple Plain. While living in Maple Plain Julie was employed at various places including McGarry’s Café (now McGarry’s Pub & Eatery) for 26 years.
The couple decided to move to Hinckley in 2017 and bought their first home. The home was situated on Otter Creek, a beautiful spot in the woods which made for very peaceful living. Julie was employed with Tobie's Restaurant for 7 years; many days you could find her at the bakery counter with a big welcoming smile, she always enjoyed serving customers and the many friends and family who happen to be passing through. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
Julie survived by her husband Bruce Campbell; son Zechariah (Heather) Campbell; daughters Melissa Campbell, Michelle Campbell (Thomas Clausen); bonus daughter Jessica Battista; grandchildren Hailey, Haiden; several "bonus" grandchildren; siblings Rob (Brenda) Clarno, Russ (Kelly) Clarno, Mark (Diane) Clarno, Terry Cohen (Stuart), Melissa Stock (Dave); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Joan Clarno.
A Celebration of Julie's Life will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 11 AM-3 PM in the Big Kettle Room, Tobie's Restaurant in Hinckley.
