Kathleen A. Becht of Pine City passed away peacefully at Lake Minnetonka Shores in Spring Park on Friday, December 9, 2022, two days shy of her 91st birthday, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.
Kathy was raised in Cincinnati but moved to the Kenwood area of Minneapolis with her husband, Jack, where they raised six children. Family and faith were the most important things in her life. She loved the outdoors and also enjoyed needlework, birdwatching, reading, puzzles and was the ultimate Vikings Fan.
Kathy is survived by her six children Doug Becht (Kathy), Dave Becht (Sue), Kathy Wolf (Mike), Karen Becht (Bob Pitzen), Dick Becht (Betty) and Kris Fieldseth (Mark); grandchildren John Becht, Michael Becht, Kia Becht (Austin Bratz), Amy Botha (Leendert), Shaun Wolf (Amber), Ryan Wolf (Marcie Krantz), Jenna von Behren (Zach), Brianna Kocon (Jordan), Blakely Brush (Haley Backdahl), Heidi Fieldseth (Amanda Dvorak), and Jake Fieldseth; great-grandchildren Dylan Wolf, Alice Wolf and Calvin von Behren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack and grandson Eric.
A visitation for Kathy is planned from 9-10:30 AM on Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pine City. The interment will take place in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Pine City American Legion.
