Kimberly "Kim" Rae Johnson

Kimberly Johnson passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the age of 61.

Kimberly Rae Johnson was born to Vernon and Mavis (Hibbard) Johnson on June 20, 1957 in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Kimberly cared for her good friend Roy; in keeping with her giving spirit.  Kim and Roy watched over each other; as good friends do.  They worked together, helping one another.  Roy keeping his farm going and Kim growing her flower gardens; adding more every year.  She loved feeding the birds, squirrels and stray cats that came into the yard. 

She will be missed by everyone she touched.

Kim is survived by her daughter Sadie Harrop of Fergus Falls; grandchildren: Steven Ramsey and Amber Harrop;great-grandchild Isabella Piecek;siblings Lee (Kathy) Johnson of Pine River, Denice (Gary) Anderson of Pine City, Nicole (Leslie) Larson of Garrison, North Dakota,Jon (Sylvia) Johnson of Harris, Linda (Ray) Schlosser and Robin (Tom) Halek all of Rush City; her good friend Roy Lutgen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Kim is preceded in death by her parents Vern and Mavis Johnson and her brother Loren Johnson.

Reverend Dr. Vicki VanderVegt will officiate at funeral services for Kim: 1 PM; Sunday (10/14/18) with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service all at Calvary Lutheran Church of Rush Point.  The interment will take place in Calvary Lutheran Cemetery, Rush Point.
