Kyle Mold went to the arms of Jesus on Friday, July 12, 2024 while at work in South Dakota.
Born on January 18, 1985, he spent his childhood years in Rush City and Pine City, and most recently resided in rural North Branch, being a vital part of the family farm operation there. Kyle's greatest pride was his children, he loved his role as a volunteer basketball coach with the Rush City school district when his children were in grade school. At the time of his passing he was employed by David’s Hydrovac of Columbus, Minnesota for whom he worked for multiple locations in Minnesota and the Dakotas. Kyle's welding skills found him repairing and fabricating machinery for local farmers and building derby cars for local people for the county fairs. He enjoyed an extensive career in local softball.
Kyle is survived by his children Landon Mold and Lola Mold of North Branch; parents Alan and Nancy Dahlin Teich of North Branch, James Mold; sisters Natalie Mold (Travis Swanson) of White Bear Lake, Elizabeth Olson of St. Cloud; many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Willard and Delores Mold of Rush City, Milton and Arlene Dahlin of Rush Point; first cousin Heather Nelson.
Kyle was a serial hugger, and will be missed by many people.
The funeral service for Kyle is at 11 AM on Monday, July 22, 2024 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rush City. A time of visitation and reviewal is planned from 3-6 PM Sunday (7/21/2024) at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City and also one hour prior to the service at the church. The interment will take place in First Lutheran Cemetery, Rush City.
Memorials are preferred to Kyle's children.
