LeRoy Curtis Nystrom passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Northern Pines Assisted Living in Pine City, MN at the age of 88.

LeRoy was born near Milwaukee, WI on April 6, 1936, to Oscar A. Nystrom and Magna (Amanda) Eckre. The family moved to Minnesota in the early 1940’s.

He was known as a hard worker with many business entrepreneurships. LeRoy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for over 60 years. He enjoyed his many connections to his family and friends.

LeRoy is survived by his wife of 24 years Louise (Sauter) Nystrom; brother Wayne Nystrom of Pine City; daughter Loni (Scott) Vossen of Champlin; son Brian (Susan) Nystrom of Simpsonville, SC; four grandsons; one granddaughter; step-daughters Jane (Rich) Johnson of Arizona, Jean (Rick) Petersen of Pine City, Joan Sauter of Cambridge, Joyce (Brad) Nordrum of Pine City.

He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Magna Nystrom; siblings Winston (Ruth) Nystrom, Leonard Nystrom, Yvonne (Mel) Pearson, Laverne Schmidt, Arlene Wills.

Funeral services for LeRoy: 11 AM; Friday, August 23, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pine City with a time for family and friends to gather one hour prior to the service at the church.
