Lois Jean Veitch

Lois Veitch peacefully passed away with her family at her side, after her long battle with cancer. Lois Jean Grubbs was born March 7, 1955 to Herbert and Marguerite Grubbs in Anoka.  On July 16, 1996 Lois married Robert Veitch.

Lois survived by husband Robert Veitch of Pine City;  step-children Robert (Mary) Veitch of Oakdale, Carrilyn Veitch, Kristen Veitch Nadeau both of White Bear Lake; grandson  Robert Veitch of Oakdale; siblings Donna Emly of Centerville, Audrey (Jerry) Boyd of Grantsburg, Wisconsin, Arlene "Jeep" Joarnt of Menahga, Stanley (Mary) Grubbs of Pine City, Clifford (Wendy) Grubbs of Wyoming, Deborah (Steve) Martin of Yuma, Arizona, sisters-in-law Linda Grubbs of Lino Lakes, Marilyn Grubbs of Forest Lake, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; canine Grizz and horse King. 

She was preceded in death by her parents: Herbert & Marguerite Grubbs; sister Jane (Keith) Apitz, Calvin Grubbs, Larry Grubbs, Leslie "Buster" Grubbs, brothers-in-law Larry Joarnt, Marvin Emly; nephews Lonnie Joarnt, John Grubbs.

A memorial gathering for friends and family is planned from 4-8 PM; for Monday (7/29) at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City. The interment will take place in Oak Park Cemetery in Columbus Township at a later date.
