Mae LeRue Manthey

Mae Manthey of Payson, Arizona, formerly of Pine City, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in Arizona at the age of 93.

Mae LeRue Bettinger was born December 4, 1925 in Lake Park, Iowa.

Mae is survived by her children Patty Beck of Payson, Arizona, Kathryn (Richard) Johnson of Crosby, Denise (Alan) Tervo of Coon Rapids, Duane (Lori) Lindstrom of Peoria, Arizona; sister June Jacobson of Pine City; daughter-in-law Carolyn Lindstrom of Andover; sister-in-law Pauline Bettinger; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mae is preceded in death by her parents Charles & Myrtle Bettinger, husband Rufus Manthey, son Danny Lindstrom, son-in-law Earl Beck, brothers Robert Bettinger, Charles (Edna) Bettinger and brother-in-law Herbert Jacobson.

Funeral services for Mae: 2:30 PM; Friday (8/23/19) at the First Presbyterian Church of Pine City. A time of visitation and reviewal is planned for one hour prior to the service at the church. The interment will take place in Birchwood Cemetery in Pine City, MN.
