Margaret Mary Roubinek

Margaret Roubinek passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Northern Pines Assisted Living in Pine City at the age of 83.

Margaret Mary Roubinek was born September 20, 1941 to Carl and Elizabeth (Schumacher) Kubesh on the family farm in Beroun, Minnesota. She married  John "Jack" Roubinek on March 20, 1965; they resided on a farm outside of Pine City for most of their lives. She enjoyed bowling, pitching horseshoes, and playing cards - hobbies she loved to share with her daughters and grandkids.

Margaret is survived by her husband Jack Roubinek; daughers Janet Roubinek, Joyce Teich; grandchildern Trevor (Larissa) Teich, Trisha (Tyler) Spinler, Cora (Stefan) Platikanov, Elsie Lundquist (Jacob Hetrick); great grandson Raiden; siblings Mary Countryman; Clair (Linda) Kubesh, Mike (Linda) Kubesh, Jerry Kubesh (Marilyn Sherman); sister-in-law Denise Kubesh; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl & Elizabeth Kubesh; brothers Robert "Butch" Kubesh, Rita (Clayton) Pavek, Catherine Champlin, Mark Kubesh, Greg Kubesh; brother-in-law Harold Countryman; son-in-law Don Teich.

Funeral services for Margaret:  1:00 PM; Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City with one hour of visitation prior to the  service. Interment will take place at Birchwood Cemetery near her father/mother-in-law Louis & Mary Roubinek.
