Melvin Russell Anderson

Melvin Anderson of Rush City died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the age of 50.

Melvin Russell Anderson was born November 27, 1968 to Darrell and Carole Jean (Thoreen) Anderson in Chisago City, Minnesota and attended school in North Branch. On August 24, 1994, he married Jenny Fisher and together they had two sons, Nicholas and Travis.

Melvin was employed at Zinpro Corporation in North Branch for the past 12 years. He enjoyed camping, working on cars, sports of all kinds and most of all spending time with Jenny and the boys, his family and his friends. He was a kind and generous person, always willing to help his family and his friends with whatever project came up.

Melvin is survived by his wife of 24 years Jenny Anderson; sons Nicholas Anderson and Travis Anderson all of Rush City; siblings Jenell (Scott) Anderson of Dresser, Wisconsin, Joleen (Kevin) Carlson of Rochester, Darrell Anderson of North Branch; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Darrell and Carole Anderson; infant brother Donald Anderson.

A Celebration of Melvin’s Life will be held at their home (8860 517th Street, Rush City, MN 55069) from 1-4 PM; Saturday, July 20, 2019.
