Myron Oliver Twingstrom

Myron Twingstrom of Rush City passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025 at The Estates in Rush City after a short time on hospice care at the age of 86.

Myron O. Twingstrom was born in Spring Lake, Minnesota September 28, 1938 to Oliver and Selma (Erickson) Twingstrom. He attended Pine Lake country school and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1956.

Myron first married Carol Swenson of North Branch and they had 3 sons, Scott, Jame and Tom. Then later, they divorced.

On June 25 1988, Myron married Janet (Lofgren) Twingstrom and gained two stepsons; Mylo and Monty.

Myron spent his life as an auto mechanic and an excellent farmer. He enjoyed anything that was built by Mopar and John Deere.

After retirement, he and Jan enjoyed winters in Florida and Arizona with their RV's and then later their "Little South Fork" in Texas. These memories will be cherished forever.

Myron is survived by his wife Jan Twingstrom; sons Scott (Renita) Twingstrom, Tom (Terri) Twingstrom, Mylo (Patty) Twingstrom and Monty (Naomi) Twingstrom. He also leaves to grieve grandchildren: Shaun (Janet) Twingstrom, Megan (Derrick) Klaers, Morgan (Tony Shafer) Twingstrom, Jerri Ann Twingstrom, Brian (Brittany) Twingstrom, Amanda Twingstrom, Lacey (Cody) Kitchens, Amber, Benjamin and Kevin Twingstrom, Zach Koran, Shayna Koran, Ryan (Katelyn) Twingstrom; 16 great-grandchildren as well as many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Jame Twingstrom; brothers Maynard Twingstrom and Marlin Twingstrom.

Reverend Dr. Vicki VanderVegt will officiate funeral services for Myron: 11 AM; Monday, March 24, 2025 at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rush Point with a time of visitation and reviewal planned for one hour prior to the service at the church. The interment will take place in Calvary Lutheran Northview Cemetery, Rush Point.
