Nancy Kaye Satak LaFontaine

Nancy Satak LaFontaine passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the age of 73.

She was born Nancy Kaye Satak on November 28, 1950 to Charles and Marion (Bradshaw) Satak in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Nancy began as a beautician. She retired from working on the line at the Ford plant.

She loved children, and everybody called her "Auntie Sugar."

Nancy had a gorgeous smile and piercing blue eyes. She was a fighter. Stubborn as an ox, rules did not apply to her.

She loved her family and children. She was an amazing cook, and we all miss her spaghetti!

Nancy is survived by her daughter Antonnette "Angel" Hopkins (Jason Wigand) of Lonsdale; son Richard (Julie) Stone of Hastings; siblings Peggy (Kenny) Berres of Maplewood; Sally Bigalke of Maplewood; sister-in-law Midge Satak of Saint Paul.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Marion Satak; four brothers Joe Satak, Dan Satak, Dave Satak and Charlie Satak; brother-in-law Daniel Bigalke.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Nancy at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the North St. Paul American Legion.
