Neal Eno Sederberg was born to Enoh and Olive (Nordin) Sederberg on October 3, 1939 in North Branch Township. He passed away at his home in Harris on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the age of 84. He had been at Cambridge Medical Center since February 2nd, and the last five days with hospice care in the home.
He attended Fish Lake School and North Branch Public Schools. He entered the U.S. Army in January 1959 and was honorably discharged in January 1961.
He married Connie Balfanz in August of 1965, and had been married for 58 1/2 years at the time of his passing. They had two boys - Randy and Scott.
Neal liked to fish and hunt until declining health kept him home. He did have his last fishing trip this last May and it was amazing to Randy, Scott, and grandson Jagear that he was able to catch the largest fish.
Neal is survived by his wife Connie Sederberg of Harris; sons Randy (Tina) Sederberg of Andover, Scott Sederberg of Harris; grandchildren McKenzie (Louis) Sanders of Fairmont, Jagear Sederberg (Autumn Buzay) of Farmington, Sierra Sederberg of Harris; sisters Marlo (Donald) Grise' of Blaine and Ilene Amschler of Saint Cloud; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Enoh and Olive Sederberg; infant brother Neil; brother Clifton Sederberg; sister Ardis Eiffler; brothers-in-law Jack Eiffler and Ronald Amschler; nephews Clinton and Kevin Sederberg.
He will be missed by many friends and extended families.
A flannel shirt will be welcomed as casual dress attire.
Reverend Dr. Vicki VanderVegt will officiate at Neal's funeral service: 3 PM; Saturday, February 24, 2024 at First Lutheran Church of Harris with a time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. The interment will take place in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Harris.
