Peggy Ann Eskuri

Peggy Eskuri of Rush City passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at her home at the age of 77.

Peggy Ann Laine was born January 31, 1945 to Edward and Impi Laine in Moose Lake MN. She graduated
from Cromwell High School in 1963.

Peggy was spending the night at her friend, Laverna’s house when she met Laverna’s brother, Alvin
Eskuri. Peggy and Al were married on June 20, 1963. They made their first home in St. Paul and
eventually settled in Forest Lake to raise their three children, Deanna, Chad and Gary.

Peggy enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and fishing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Music was a big part of her life, she enjoyed listening to Al play the accordion and she loved to dance.
She was quick-witted and had a great sense of humor. She made a tradition out of finding clever, funny
ways to give gifts to her family and they all looked forward to seeing what she would come up with next.

Peggy was always very thankful for all the blessings in her life, especially her husband, Al, her family, and
the simple joys in life.

Peggy is survived by her husband Alvin Eskuri of Rush City; children Gary (Amy Untiedt) Eskuri of Vadnais Heights, Chad (Julie) Eskuri of Braham, Deanna Anderson of North Branch; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 11 siblings.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Impi Laine; 2 infant daughters; 3 siblings.

Pastor Joel Preston will officiate at funeral services for Peggy: 2 PM; Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City.  A gathering of family and friends is planned for one hour prior to the service.
