Reggie Lee Garrett

Reggie L. Garrett, 74, of Pine City, passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side on Monday, February 12, 2024, after a strong battle with cancer.

Reggie L. Garrett was born January 8, 1950 to Seth and Dorothy Garrett in Mobridge, South Dakota. Reggie grew up in Mound City, South Dakota, White Bear Lake and Hugo, Minnesota. Reggie married CindaSue, had three children, and remained great friends throughout his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering with things outside. He especially loved his children, grandchildren, and adored his pets Angel, Patches, and Peanut.

Reggie is survived by his three children: Christopher Garrett of Pine City, Heather Shaw of Roberts, Wisconsin, and Troy Garrett of Pine City; grandchildren Trey (Kaylee), Alayna, Brianna, Jacob, Calvin, Destiny; great-grandkids Aiden and Ava; sister Terri Langerud of Nisswa; niece Stephanie (Charlie) Kluck of Cross Lake; great-niece and nephew Isla and Graham Kluck of Cross Lake; CindaSue (Ron) Eggers of Roberts, WI; Jeremy (Lauren) Garske of Forest Lake; Jim (Kathy) Shaw of Chippewa Falls WI; aunt Lorraine Kightlinger of Selby SD and all his cousins from the Kightlinger and Garrett families.

Reggie was preceded in death by his parents Seth and Dorothy; his partner Patty Sauve; his brother-in-law Lee Langerud; and son-in-law David Shaw.

We will always remember his quick wit and feisty attitude, and his love will truly be missed by those who were blessed with his presence.

A Celebration of Reggie’s Life is planned for 3:00-5:00 PM, Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City.
