Robert Henry Bever

It is with continued great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Bever on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the age of 84, so soon after the passing of his twin brother Ric. 

Bob grew up in Cannon Falls and New Prague, graduated from St. John's University and worked at American Family Insurance for many years. Along with his twin brother Ric, enjoyed early retirement and spent much time on their hobby farm in Pine City (near their grandparents’ farm, and other relatives’ farms), as well as lots of time entertaining their nieces and creating lasting memories.  Bob was a selfless, devoted son, brother and uncle who enjoyed joking around and making others smile. Bob will be sadly missed!

Bob is survived by his aunt Carolyn Kazda; sister-in-law Mary Lou Bever; nieces Sue (Gary), Mary Lou (Dick), Lisa (Steve), Jaci (Bob) and Tina (Jerry); 5 great-nieces/nephews; 5 great-great-nieces/nephews; many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nicholas H. and Mary Bever; brothers Nicholas Bever and Richard Bever; sister Mary Lou (Jack) Marschall; many aunts and uncles.

Monsignor Alexsander Suchan will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial for Robert: 10:30 AM; Friday, February 24, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A time of visitation and reviewal is planned for one hour prior to the Mass in the St. Anthony Commons area at the church. The interment will take place in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pine City, alongside his parents and brother Ric.
