Ruth Merie Stewart

Ruth Stewart of Pine City passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Northern Pines Assisted Living at the age of 80.

Ruth Merie Osgood was born on March 26, 1944 to Robert and Louise (Blanchard) Osgood in Duluth, Minnesota.

Ruth is survived by her sons Troy (Amy) Stewart of Pine City, Tom Blake of Duluth; stepson Del (Sandy) Stewart of Prior Lake; grandchildren Nicholas and Emily Stewart, Derek (Jillian), Ryan and Adam Blake; several great-grandchildren; brother Don Osgood of Pine City; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Louise Osgood; son Tim Blake; life partner Jim Godfrey; stepson Ray Stewart; stepdaughter Sharon Bitzer; brothers Robert E. Osgood, Richard L. Osgood, Terry G. Osgood.

There will be a time to gather and remember Ruth: 5:00-8:00 PM; Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City. The interment will take place later at Birchwood Cemetery in Pine City.
