Scott Raymond Arends

Scott Arends of Sandstone passed away very unexpectedly after heart surgery, at the age of 57, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth.

Scott Raymond Arends was born April 3, 1963 in Saint Paul, Minnesota.  He was the fourth and youngest child of Raymond and Lois (Mudrick) Arends.

Scott is survived by Cindy Arends of Sandstone; son Nicholas Arends (Rachel Thompson-Avery) of Princeton; daughter Amber Andrews (Brody Hancock) of Pine City; grandson Heath Andrews; sister Sheila (Jordan) Bien of Stacy; brothers Wes (Cindy) Arends of Ogilvie, Casey (Lauri) Arends of Rush City; many nieces and nephews; and his dog Bruno.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Lois Arends.

A gathering of family and friends is planned from 2-5 PM; Saturday (2/6/21) at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City.
