Scott Brian Stassen

Scott Stassen of Braham, formally of Ogilive, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 53.

Scott Brian Stassen was born June 13, 1966 to Edward and Evelyn Stassen in Mora, Minnesota.

In Scott's early years, he loved hunting and helping his dad in the garage.  When he was older he would work on cars for family and friends.  He loved to host Christmas and anything you would let him do.  Scott built a house in Harris where he raised 3 children and then moved to the family farm in June of 2012.  He will be missed dearly.

Scott is survived by his children Ashley (David) Krinke of Harris, Taylor Stassen and Austin Stassen both of Cambridge; granddaughter Claire Krinke of Harris; siblings Dean (Gayle) Stassen of Mora, Susan (Larry) Ponto, Vernon (Linda) Stassen, Mike (Linda) Stassen all of Ogilvie, Jane (Keith) Pierson of Mora, Danny (Debee) Stassen of Ogilvie, Tammy (Joe) Lewis of North Branch, Kevin (Le Ann) Stassen of Oak Grove, Lisa (Ron) Coleman of Braham; special friend Tina of Braham; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Evelyn Stassen; brothers Le Roy Stassen and David Stassen; nephew Lee Stassen.

Reverend Bob DeYoung will officiate at funeral services for Scott: 11 AM; Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Lewis Lake Covenant Church in Ogilvie.  A time for family and friends to gather is planned from 4-7 PM Friday (8/2) and also one hour prior to the service at the church.  The interment will take place at Lewis Lake Memorial Gardens.
